Joseph Smith Changed The Bible: Revelation 9:14

What is the real problem with Joseph Smith? It is that he is a con-man and a false prophet. That being said, many people in the Mormon church would disagree with me and highly revere him. However, I’ve spoken the truth and this is not always accepted. God was not happy with his life. His poor choices are what caused him to deflect what is right from God and then choose what is false. It was in his arrogance that he began to think he knew better than the King James Bible (KJV). This continued until he formulated his own Bible instead, called the “Joseph Smith Translation (JST)“. His version of the Bible contains over 3400+ changed verses. This includes the Book of Revelation. Revelation 9:14 is a simple example of what has been changed. I am talking about the part in the verse that says, “which are bound in the great river Euphrates” (KJV) was changed to “which are bound in the bottomless pit” (JST). But is the great river Euphrates the same thing as the bottomless pit? No. Does this cause confusion? Yes. What about causing people to distrust the original Biblical text? It does that too. There are consequences for such sinful actions. People who add or remove from the Bible are condemned. See below for this verse…

Revelation 9:14 (KJV)
14 Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates.

Revelation 9:14 (Joseph Smith Translation)
14 Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, “Loose the four angels which are bound in the bottomless pit.”

What are the consequences of adding and removing from the Biblical text, namely the Book of Revelation. First comes hell. This is where pain and sorrow are continually felt. Even in fire and brimstone, they have no water to quench their thirst. God’s plagues are now poured out upon them. This is temporary, for then comes the Great White Throne Judgment seat, where Jesus is the judge. In this place, many people find out that their names are not found in the Book of Life and will not go to heaven. This is true of people that add or remove text from the Bible. What does this mean? It means that these types of willful sinners will not go to heaven either. Instead, they will hear the words, “I never knew you”, “depart from me”. I can just imagine how fearful this will be when kneeling down before Jesus and hearing these words. They thought they were a good person, but it all ended up being counted evil in God’s sight. He is now making things clear as people on earth tried to help them, but they would not listen. And so, the lake of fire comes next, which is the second death. There are no second chances at this point. This is the case for Joseph Smith, who is a false prophet. He has led millions of people astray. See below for details…

“For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.” (Revelation 22:18-19)

“And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.” (Revelation 20:12-15)

  1. Amen! We cannot change the word of God. Joseph Smith is now in hell. He toyed and tampered with the Holy Bible to his own liking. He will go to the Lake of Fire. Trust Jesus Christ and not Joseph Smith. There is only hell for Joseph Smith now that he’s dead and never repented before he died. He could have been saved but refused to obey Jesus Christ. He refused to listen to the Holy Spirit and repent for being a false prophet. Amen!

  2. False. Joseph Smith Jr. didn’t change The Bible. He did a translation to make it easier to understand with the same meaning of the original scripture.
Translating and changing both have different meanings.
