"ELOHIM: Brethren and sisters, you are about to be put under covenant to obey and keep the Law of Sacrifice, as contained in the Old and New Testament. This Law of Sacrifice was given to Adam in the garden of Eden, who, when he was driven out of the garden, built an alter on which he offered sacrifices; and after many days, an angel of the Lord appeared unto Adam, saying: “Why dost thou offer sacrifice unto the Lord?” And Adam said unto him: “I know not, save the Lord commanded me.” And then the angel spake saying: “This thing is a similitude of the sacrifice of the Only Begotten of the Father, which is full of grace and truth. Wherefore, thou shalt do all that thou dost in the name of the Son, and thou shalt repent, and call upon God in the name of the Son forevermore.” (Pre-1990 Temple Endowment)
"The posterity of Adam down to Moses, and from Moses to Jesus Christ offered up the first fruits of the field, and the firstlings of the flock, which continued until the death of Jesus Christ, which ended sacrifice by the shedding of blood. And as Jesus Christ has laid down his life for the redemption of mankind, so we should covenant to sacrifice all that we possess, even our own lives if necessary, in sustaining and defending the Kingdom of God.” (Pre-1990 Temple Endowment)
"All arise. Each of you bring your right arm to the square. You and each of you solemnly covenant and promise before God, angels, and these witnesses at this alter that you will observe and keep the Law of Sacrifice, as contained in the Old and New Testament, as it has been explained to you. Each of you bow your head and say “yes.” PATRONS: Yes. ELOHIM: That will do.” (Pre-1990 Temple Endowment)
There are four covenants made by people who enter Mormon temples. We will go through all four, starting with the first one, the Law of Sacrifice Covenant. You heard that right, the same law that Jesus fulfilled with his death on the cross, they will covenant to keep. We know this law is of no importance since Jesus is the Lamb of God who came to take away the sins of the world. The quote mentioning, "offer sacrifice unto the Lord" is from Moses 5, a fraudulent work of Moses from the hand of Joseph Smith. This Elohim is not God either, but an imposter to the true God of the Bible. For one, God would never have us covenant to keep a law that was fulfilled with Christ. So why Mormons willingly covenant to keep this law of Sacrifice makes no sense at all. But this covenant will be explained in even more detail by this false God in Mormonism, aka Satan.
Sacrificing all that they posesses is to give a full tithe (10% of their income to their church). This includes fast offerings, offerings to missions, and many other things. On their offering slip, the ways to donate are numerous. They sacrifice two years of their life serving a mission for a cult that is not of God. A supposed church that teaches man-made doctrines and works-based salvation. Their Jesus did not atone for our sins on the cross alone, but started in the garden and ended on the cross. And so people in this church willfully give all their time to callings in their church, family history work, temple work, missions, and more. All this for what? For Jesus to say He doesn't know them sounds about right. This is the sad truth of everything you see in this cult.
"Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity." (Matthew 7:21-23)
So just like all the new rules and regulations that get handed down in this cult, everyone that goes through these endowment sessions solemnly covenants to do everything they are asked of. What they declare in their temples is like a blood oath and means much more than what they may declare in their churches, or conference center. This is because if they do not keep everything that they have sworn in their temples, then Satan would have power over their lives. This means a possession from a demonic spirit. Crazy how this information is part of their temple endowment. It is Satan that gets up and says, "I have a word to say concerning these people. If they do not walk up to every covenant they make at these altars in this temple this day, they will be in my power!" (Pre-1990 Temple Endowment) Just knowing that they may be under Satan's power must make many of them very depressed. Satan's power upon us also causes us to be blind to the truth of God. Only Jesus can set them free and lead them from darkness and into His light. Amen.
In so doing they have made of no effect the sacrifice of Christ.
