Joseph Smith Changed The Bible: Revelation 6:14

Joseph Smith is a false prophet. Let this be known! From the beginning, he was led by Satan himself, bringing about false teachings purported by the devil. No wonder who the true leader of Mormonism really is? It is Satan. He is leading this cult as planned by way of false prophets, missionaries, and teachers. Satan is well pleased with the Returned Mormon Missionaries in his cult. If only they would repent for what you have done. The Lord God is not happy with them. As for this false prophet, of which Mormons praise and worship, he destroyed the King James Bible (KJV) with his own Joseph Smith Translation (JST). Over 3400+ verses in the KJV were changed. This includes the Book of Revelation, and Revelation 6:14 is a great example. The problem here is threefold. The word, “heaven” was changed to “heavens“. The phrase “heaven departed as a scroll” was changed to “heavens opened as a scroll is opened.” The phrase “moved out of their” was changed to “moved out of its place“. See below for details…

Revelation 6:14 (KJV)
14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.

Revelation 6:14 (Joseph Smith Translation)
14 And the heavens opened as a scroll is opened when it is rolled together. And every mountain and island was moved out of its place.

So what are the consequences for the heinous and evil acts of Joseph Smith? First comes hell. This is when a willful sinner takes their last breath and unfortunately, there is more pain to come. God’s judgments immediately start to come down upon this man in the form of fire, brimstone, and no water. There are only regrets, pain, fear, sorrow, and so much suffering. This happens while knowing that God’s plagues are upon them. They have sinned against God and the Holy Ghost. It is in the Great White Throne Judgment that they will find out why they were in hell in the first place. This is because their name is not found in the Lamb’s book of life. It will be very fearful for these people to first stand and then kneel before Jesus and know that these just punishments are coming from Him. And this is when they will find out that they will never enter New Jerusalem. That a life of pain, even in their resurrected body, will continue. How they will be sent off to the lake of fire and experience a second death. And so the pains and sorrows they have already felt will continue for all eternity. See below for details…

“For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.” (Revelation 22:18-19)

“And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.” (Revelation 20:12-15)

  1. I have been studying the Bible for the last 3 years and no longer do I believe in the LDS doctrine or beliefs. I was in my early 60’s when I was converted to the LDS church and sadly I was was not Bible literate. Now I am still learning, but have read and understand enough to know, in my opinion, that the LDS church is teaching false doctrine. I no longer what to be a member of the 5thWard in Vernal. Utah.
