Mormons are playing God. This is a true statement, but for you to understand this I will need to paint you a picture first. The Bible teaches that the wicked die and go to hell. These people will suffer in fire and brimstone because they did not confide in God but in their own selves. They will be in such torment up until the day of judgment. At this point, they will be forced to bow down before Jesus on the throne, who is God and King. Their outcome will not be good, as their names are not written in the Lamb’s book of life. Therefore, they will be cast into the lake of fire, which is the second death. This teaching has been taught for the last two thousands years. So which church, or I should say cult, has a problem with these teachings? The Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints. They believe that this is a cruel teaching, which makes the God of the Bible a mean and terrible God. Therefore, they have come up with an alternative teaching which allows everyone to go to heaven. See how the Bible disagrees…
“And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.” (Revelation 20:10-15)
“And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.” (Revelation 21:5-8)
This teaching of hell and the lake of fire is not accepted in Mormonism, although it is Biblically sound. So what do Mormons believe instead? That people who die and are wicked go a place called spirit prison. In this place, they will wait till their baptism, washings, endowment, and or marriage ceremony was done for them. At this point, they can receive these ordinances done for them in the Mormon temple. This would allow them to enter heaven, while escaping hell and the lake of fire. So what is happening here? Mormons disbelieve in the God of the Bible and instead think they can play God themselves. So they go about saving people who are supposed to go to hell. They erect these abominable temples, family history centers, and websites, where people get names of dead people and then bring them into their temples. At this point, their work is done for them. Is this of God. Absolutely not. These people need to repent or suffer the consequences of going to hell themselves. Amen.
Let us pray:
Oh Lord, I pray that people in the Mormon cult will repent of their atrocious false teachings. Truly, what they believe in and practice when it comes to their temples is so abominable. It is very sad to see how these people hate Your teachings of hell and the lake of fire and instead think they can play God and save the wicked. How do these people believe this and then go to sleep at night thinking they are right with You? How do they keep their conscience clean when playing God is idolatry and will land them in hell when they die. Help them understand how evil their beliefs are when it comes to doing works for dead people. God, many of these people have asked me if people in their cult will go to heaven, but I cannot fathom it in the least. All I can see is death and destruction for people in this Mormon cult. If only they would repent and understand that hell awaits the wicked, which means fire, brimstone, and torment. I don’t want anyone to go there. I love You, Jesus. You are my God and I worship You. Amen.
