When it comes to judgment, the book of Mormon teaches that God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are one God, like unto the trinity. However, this contradicts with the current Mormon teachings when it comes to the Godhead. To begin with, let us see how the Mormon’s favorite book, the Book of Mormon reads, “now, this restoration shall come to all, both old and young, both bond and free, both male and female, both the wicked and the righteous; and even there shall not so much as a hair of their heads be lost; but every thing shall be restored to its perfect frame, as it is now, or in the body, and shall be brought and be arraigned before the bar of Christ the Son, and God the Father, and the Holy Spirit, which is one Eternal God, to be judged according to their works, whether they be good or whether they be evil.” (Alma 11:44) What we just read speaks of the trinity, which the Bible also teaches. “For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.” (1 John 5:7,8) This is what we would call the holy trinity.
Here is the official doctrine of the Mormon church, which contradicts their own Book of Mormon and the Bible. “The true doctrine of the Godhead was lost in the apostasy that followed the Savior’s mortal ministry and the deaths of His Apostles. This doctrine began to be restored when 14-year-old Joseph Smith received his First Vision (see Joseph Smith—History 1:17). From the Prophet’s account of the First Vision and from his other teachings, we know that the members of the Godhead are three separate beings. The Father and the Son have tangible bodies of flesh and bones, and the Holy Ghost is a personage of spirit (see Doctrine and Covenants 130:22).” (Godhead) This teaching is false, the Father is a Spirit, that is why He is able to dwell in the Son. Jesus said, “believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.” (John 14:10) Lastly, the trinity is from God as Paul said also. “The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.” (2 Corinthians 13:14) Who will you believe? Mormon doctrine or the Bible? Amen.
Let us pray:
Oh Lord, I pray for every Mormon to come to Your truth that is found in the Bible. Many of these people are so lost that they have closed up inside to anything else but what their church is feeding them. It is sad that they deny any phone calls or text messages if they find out that we want to talk to them about their faith. Truly, this is a sign of a cult. Satan has infiltrated their church in such a way that they would rather believe what Satan wanted than what you want for our lives. And so they believe that they can be elevated to Godhood through exaltation after they go to heaven. But do they not realize that Lucifer was thrust down to the earth like lightning because of this same desire to become God? This is one thing that is so hard for these people to understand, even though it is plain in Your Bible that there is only one God. That makes You the Supreme Being, who is Elohim. I believe in You, God, even the Holy Trinity. That the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are one God that makes up who You are. Thank You for revealing this truth to me and millions of other Christians throughout the globe. I believe in You, God, and that salvation only comes through Jesus. I give You, praise above all else. Amen.
