“All the kings of the nations, even all of them, lie in glory, every one in his own house. But thou art cast out of thy grave like an abominable branch, and as the raiment of those that are slain, thrust through with a sword, that go down to the stones of the pit; as a carcase trodden under feet. Thou shalt not be joined with them in burial, because thou hast destroyed thy land, and slain thy people: the seed of evildoers shall never be renowned.” (Isaiah 14:18-20) – About 700–681 B.C.

“All the kings of the nations, yea, all of them, lie in glory, every one of them in his own house. But thou art cast out of thy grave like an abominable branch, and the remnant of those that are slain, thrust through with a sword, that go down to the stones of the pit; as a carcass trodden under feet. Thou shalt not be joined with them in burial, because thou hast destroyed thy land and slain thy people; the seed of evil-doers shall never be renowned.” (2 Nephi 24:18-20) – About 559–545 B.C.

The King James Version of Isaiah, chapter 14, was copied and pasted into the Book of Mormon. This chapter of Isaiah can be found in 2 Nephi, chapter 24. The book of Isaiah and 2 Nephi are also available to read in the next chapters of this book. Details of what took place can be found below…

There is a contradiction found when comparing 2 Nephi, chapter 24, with Isaiah, chapter 14. Joseph Smith not only copied the chapter but changed it also. We learn about evil kings that are cast down to the earth like unto the people they had killed. Lucifer is mentioned and how he was cast out of heaven and to the earth. That by way of Satan these kings were puffed up in vain glory. The kings were then slain along with the people they had killed. It was their raiment or clothing that was left behind with their carcasses. This word, “raiment” is important to remember since Joseph Smith took this verse and replaced it with “remnant”. Doing this changed the whole story of what happened with the kings. We will talk about this later. As for Isaiah, it reads, “all the kings of the nations, even all of them, lie in glory, every one in his own house. But thou art cast out of thy grave like an abominable branch, and as the raiment of those that are slain, thrust through with a sword, that go down to the stones of the pit; as a carcase trodden under feet. Thou shalt not be joined with them in burial, because thou hast destroyed thy land, and slain thy people: the seed of evildoers shall never be renowned.” (Isaiah 14:18-20)

let's now see how the Book of Mormon reads when comparing it's same verses to Isaiah, chapter 14. It is written, “all the kings of the nations, yea, all of them, lie in glory, every one of them in his own house. But thou art cast out of thy grave like an abominable branch, and the remnant of those that are slain, thrust through with a sword, that go down to the stones of the pit; as a carcass trodden under feet. Thou shalt not be joined with them in burial, because thou hast destroyed thy land and slain thy people; the seed of evil-doers shall never be renowned.” (2 Nephi 24:18-20) As you can see here, “raiment” was replaced with “remnant”. Raiment means the clothing that people wore before being killed. Whereas, remnant means a small group of people. So instead of talking about everyone who died and their leftover clothing, we focus on a small group of people who died. Remnant means a small remaining group of people. So there we have it. What are Mormons going to believe now? They cannot believe what Isaiah and Nephi both had to say as they speak of two different things. And now you have heard the truth. Joseph Smith purposely changed the Bible when he wrote his book. He is a liar and a false prophet. Amen.

Let us pray:
Oh Lord, open the eyes of every blind Mormon out there. They may think they can see now, but in reality, they are seeing through their own eyes and not Yours, God. This is because they put their trust in false prophets. In all this, You can still do a mighty work in their lives. You are stronger than any one person on this earth. People can say that they have performed miracles, but because You are not for it, it didn't come from you. Satan can perform miracles similar to those of You, God. These people are not led through Your power, but through the devil’s power. Lord, I rebuke the evil spirits in people. In Your Name, Jesus, give them freedom. Gather these people, that they may approach You and be saved. You are mighty to accept those who call upon Your name. Through Your strength, we are healed. You rescue those who have stumbled. Sanctify them, Jesus. Give them freedom through your shed blood on the cross. I trust in You, Jesus. You are my God and my righteous king. You deserve the glory and the praise. I love You, Lord. Have Your way in my life. I will go forth and do Your will as it is in heaven. Thank You for the time I've had talking to Mormons. May those seeds sprout in their hearts. In Your Name, I pray, Jesus. Amen.
