Mormon’s Err In Their Own Ways

Let us bow down before the Lord, our God. Kneel before your maker and God of all creation. He is the God of Israel and also the God of the gentiles that believe in Him. Those who know and follow Jesus are His people and we are part of His pasture. He guides His sheep as any good shepherd would on earth, but better. What do sheep do, they hear the voice of their shepherd and not disregard it. Therefore, we are to listen to God also and not harden our hearts to His counsel. David wrote, “O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker. For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness.” (Psalm 95:6-8) In the generation we live in, the majority of people have hardened their hearts toward God. They don’t realize it, but after death Jesus, will not know them.

There are many mockers and scoffers. This can cause us to grieve, for people’s hearts are so hard-hearted toward God and His people. I have felt this pain over the years after resigning from a cult called “Mormonism”. God delivered me from it and placed me on a path that actually leads to heaven with Jesus at the head. Unfortunately, my messages to Mormons have been mostly unappreciative as different people have mocked me for trying to share the gospel with them. These people err in their own religious ways and many shall never find the truth. Lastly, David wrote, “when your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my work. Forty years long was I grieved with this generation, and said, It is a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known my ways: Unto whom I sware in my wrath that they should not enter into my rest.” (Psalm 95:9-10) As for me, I am grateful to be saved from God’s wrath and to now rest in God’s presence. Amen.

Let us pray:
Oh Lord, I pray that more people will repent and give their lives to You. This is almost impossible for many religious people, for they already believe they have the truth. I have reasoned with these types of people over the years and to no avail. This includes Mormons, Jehovah’s Witnesses, Baptists, and others. Mormons say that I bring in the spirit of contention and that I only want to Bible bash their beliefs. They then bow out from talking to me. Jehovah’s Witnesses only want to hear what their cult leaders have taught them about Jesus, like Mormons, and when I continue to engage with them they leave. Lord, these two religious systems are so far from You, and aren’t aware of it. As for the Baptist, he believed that repentance was not necessary and had his pastor kick me out of their church when I refuted this. God, why is it that people are so hard-hearted? Only You can help them stop erring in their own ways. I love You, Jesus. I trust in You. Amen.

  1. I find the Baptist comment interesting. Repentance is to change our mind-to see our sin as God sees it. If we don’t change our mind about sin, we would just continue to live a sinful life. I have to wonder if you (Paul) ran into the wrong Baptist. What they are big on is ‘baptism.’ Used to be they wouldn’t accept a baptism certificate from another church.
