One thing we know for certain is that there is only one way to heaven, not many ways. Anybody who teaches you that salvation can come outside of Jesus is a liar and a deceiver. Even Jesus said this Himself. “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out. And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.” (John 10:1-5) Now, do we want to be found out as a person who tried to go to heaven through other means outside of Jesus? Absolutely not. This would mean that we didn’t trust Jesus enough to allow Him to make a path that would allow us to come to heaven with His guidance and direction. This comes through the Holy Spirit. It is true that many people have allowed evil teachers into thinking that Mary, Joseph Smith, and others, can lead them to heaven, which is so wrong. Praying to Mary and teaching that Joseph Smith can allow us into heaven is so wrong. These kinds of people may not know it, but they are leading millions of people astray and into hell when they die. Therefore, they need to repent and tell people of whom they have deceived that they were wrong and are so sorry.
Jesus also said, “then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep. The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep.” (John 10:7-13) And again Jesus is telling us to not be deceived. There is no other door that we can enter through but through Jesus Christ the Lord. He is enough! People that attempt to enter in other ways are thieves and robbers, which there are millions of people like this now, unfortunately. However, we know that the sheep will not hear these evil teachers, pastors, bishops, priests, prophets, and popes. Instead, their ears are only upon Jesus, of whom they are led by Him through the Holy Spirit. The desires of the devil are to kill, steal, and destroy, but as we are God’s sheep, we don’t need anything but the life that Jesus gives us. Therefore, our eyes are fastened on Jesus at all times, lest we fall also. We don’t wish to be scattered, but to be strengthened daily as we read the Bible and pray often.
Let us pray:
Oh Lord, I pray that You will come and open the eyes of every person who says they believe in You. Help them know that salvation can only come through You, Jesus, and not through anyone else. Too many people are already led astray into thinking that Mary is their mediator between man and God, which we know is false. Surely, as the Bible says, You, Jesus are the only mediator between us and the Father. Thinking that Mary can do anything for us is a fallacy, which needs to stop. And I have also heard of the Mormons teaching that Joseph Smith will be the one who allows people into heaven when they die. That only if they know their new name, and certain handshakes, will He allow them to enter the highest heaven. This is also a lie from the pit of hell, but it is so difficult to reach people who are already deceived into believing this lie and the lies of Mary. It is my wish that people would read the Bible for themselves and begin to pray often in sincere prayer unto You. Then, in their humility would they know and understand the evils of this world, including many so-called churches in our society. What a wonderful thing it would be to see people who are being led astray by false teachers, pastors, bishops, priests, prophets, and popes, to come out of their false religion once and for all. We know that only You, Jesus, can satisfy our souls in this life and the next. And we also know that believing in salvation outside of You is false. These lies need to be squashed and put to rest, lest millions of more people are led astray and go to hell when they die. I trust in You alone, Jesus. I love You, God. Thank You for Your mercy and grace. Lead me now and forever. Amen.
