It was a great pleasure to go forth and witness for Jesus. The day started with us traveling to Salt Lake City, in order to share the truths of God, at the heart of Mormonism. 1These people are on a broad road to destruction because of the things they have been taught and believe. We prayed that people would be open hearted to God’s message. Not our own. We simply come as messengers of God most high. The Spirit is able to change lives, not our own. After arriving near the Salt Lake Temple, we went walking the streets, looking for the open hearted. This led us to talk with and pass out bibles and tracts in front of their temple. To our surprise, so many were interested. The gospel of Johns didn’t even last an hour before they were all passed out. Praise the Lord. After this time, we decided to go visit the Temple Visitor’s Center. Upon entering, we were greeted by some sister missionaries. One particular sister was interested in sharing the truths of Mormonism with us. This excited us as we had lots of questions for her, along with discussing with her Mormon beliefs that don’t stack up with the Bible. We asked about the priesthood and she said, the resurrected Peter, James and John bestowed it upon Joseph Smith. This is how they have their authority in their church today. 4However, this doesn’t hold true since the first resurrection has not taken place yet, as it says in Revelation, chapter 20. This resurrection will happen after Jesus has come in His second coming. This disproves the account entirely. We shared more with her and asked more questions, which really got her thinking. It was wonderful that she listened. Many seeds were planted in her heart, that day. As we left the Visitor’s Center, we walked by the Public Transit Center. There were lots of people coming and going from the trains there. It was the perfect spot to pass out tracts and pray for people.
By the public train, we split up and started sharing the gospel with those that would listen. There I met this wonderful man. I asked him if he had ever heard the good news of Jesus Christ. His response was, no. I told him that Jesus died for his sins that we might be forgiven and be saved. I told him that Jesus could break every chain of addiction in our lives. He then told me that he had been struggling with falling back and forth into addiction and called himself a backslider. However, in that moment, he trusted in God to deliver him. He desired to commit his life to Jesus. He hadn’t been following Jesus but was willing to now. So I led him in prayer. He confessed his sins and was sorry for what he had done. He believed that God could help him as we poured our hearts out to Jesus. After the prayer, he was so excited to let Jesus deliver him from bondage. Praise the Lord. After passing out a few more tracts we decided to go back to the Visitor’s Center. Upon re-entering the Visitor’s Center we were blessed to talk with this woman and her family. She was very excited to talk with us. We brought up the authority of God and prophets. 3That Jesus is the only high priest in the Melchizedek order. 2And that in these last days, we are spoken to directly through Jesus and not prophets, as the Bible teaches. There father was answering our questions on the phone. As we were talking with them, a security guard tapped us on the shoulders and asked us to walk outside. They said it was our third offense of spreading false teachings on their premises. So they kicked us out and took a picture of me. Though we were kicked out and had to leave the temple vicinity, it was worth it to share the correct teachings of the Bible. I pray that the family, we talked to, thinks upon what we discussed. After leaving, we were able to feed the homeless and pray for so many people. Thank You Lord for this day.
Let us pray:
Oh Lord, Thank You Lord. What a wonderful day to witness for You. We opened our mouths and You did the rest. One man gave His life to You. Praise the Lord! The gospel was shared and many received. People’s hearts were changed. Thank You Lord! Bibles and tracts were taken with great joy. All we needed was the materials and You prepared the way. You are such an amazing God! Thank you for leading us to those that were open to Your message of hope. Questions were asked and people were stirred to think on You and the Word of God. Wow, I am so amazed. Everything just fit into place perfectly. Even feeding the homeless was part of this glorious day. I am grateful that we had enough water and food to feed them. Not only food but Your living water was given into them through the Bible. Much prayer was made with the humble, this day. Thank You dear Lord, for all this and much more. I love You. Amen.
Let us read the Bible:

1Matthew 7:13-14 (KJV)
13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
2Hebrews 1:1,2 (KJV)
1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;
3Hebrews 5:5-10 (KJV)
5 So also Christ glorified not himself to be made an high priest; but he that said unto him, Thou art my Son, to day have I begotten thee.
6 As he saith also in another place, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.
7 Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared;
8 Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;
9 And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;
10 Called of God an high priest after the order of Melchisedec.
4Revelation 20:1-8 (KJV)
1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,
3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog, and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.
