Witnessing To Mormons Can Be Hard
Why is it that Mormons are so hard to talk to when we only want to share the truth of the Bible with them?
Why is it that Mormons are so hard to talk to when we only want to share the truth of the Bible with them?
Jesus came into this world to save us from our sins. This act of love took place the moment He was raised up on the cross at Calvary.
Christians are sick and tired of the Mormon false beliefs and claims about their being an apostasy and a need for a restoration.
Mormons come to many homes and share their message, but when we want to talk to them about the Bible they get upset and bolt.
False teachers need to be called out, in order to lead them and others to Jesus. Only He can open their eyes and save them.
In the Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, they say that the Book of Mormon is the keystone of their religion.
“And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.” (Revelation 5:6 – KJV)
“And I beheld, and lo in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts and in the midst of the elders stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having twelve horns and twelve eyes, which are the twelve servants of God sent forth into all the earth.” (Revelation 5:6 – JST)
Mormons come preaching a false Jesus, apostasy, restoration, atonement, plan of salvation, pre-existence, and more. Satan is leading their charge.
Mormons extol Joseph Smith, while Christians extol the Lord. They praise a dead man, while we praise Jesus, who is alive.
Out of Jesus’s own mouth came the teaching that the Father is Spirit, and if Spirit, there is no body of flesh and bones.
“And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.” (Revelation 12:9 – KJV)
“And the dragon prevailed not against Michael, neither the child nor the woman, which was the church of God, who had been delivered of her pains and brought forth the kingdom of our God and his Christ. Neither was there place found in heaven for the great dragon, who was cast out—that old serpent called the devil and also called Satan, which deceiveth the whole world, he who was cast out into the earth. And his angels were cast out with him.” (Revelation 12:7-9 – JST)
“And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels.” (Revelation 12:7 – KJV)
“And there was war in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought against Michael.” (Revelation 12:7 – JST)
There is a reason why Mormons doubt the validity of the Bible, and it comes from the Book of Mormon.
In verse 26, we learn that God created man in His image. This same God said let us.
The time for keeping endless genealogies was done away with, with the Old Law. We now live for Christ each day, while in the faith.
With Jesus coming on the scene, He became our last High priest and better tabernacle. We have no more need for temples made with hands
It is because of the Mormon temples that these lost people believe they will be exalted to Godhood.
We are told to avoid keeping genealogies, for they only lead to needless questions. This is God’s will in the Bible, not mine.
For someone to purposely alter the Bible and change what it says, that would make the person a false prophet.
The Book of Mormon teaches a false gospel. It teaches that Jesus paid for our sins while in the garden, not simply on the cross.
Many people who claim to be religious have also bought into Satan’s lies. That they will become a god. We see this in Mormonism.
Christianity has always taught that only God is an exalted being and not people. It is heresy that people can become Gods.
The Mormon church says that Joseph Smith is the greatest of all prophets. See for yourself in their own official book of scripture
joseph Smith manipulated Revelation 6:1 so much as to make the verse not even make remote sense.
Mormons teach that Jesus’s atonement started in Gethsemane and ended on the cross, putting the emphasis on the garden.
It is sad when people teach things contrary to the Bible, what is of man and not of God, while causing God’s people to stumble.
We are warned against false prophets and false teachers who bring in damnable heresies. Destruction is in their path.
The Mormon theology for baptisms for the dead stems from a single verse in 1 Corinthians 15:29.
Upon arriving to their temple, I was energized to talk with as many people as I could. I invited everyone walking down the sidewalk to take the handout.
Be careful! Unless you read the Bible, chapter by chapter, and keep this up daily, you may easily take God’s Word out of context.
