• The Bible = Original • “For the vineyard of the LORD of hosts is the house of Israel, and the men of Judah his pleasant plant: and he looked for judgment, but behold oppression; for righteousness, but behold a cry. Woe unto them that join house to house, that lay field to field, till there be no place, that they may be placed alone in the midst of the earth! In mine ears said the LORD of hosts, Of a truth many houses shall be desolate, even great and fair, without inhabitant.” (Isaiah 5:7-9) – About 700–681 B.C.
• The Book Of Mormon = Plagiarism • “For the vineyard of the Lord of Hosts is the house of Israel, and the men of Judah his pleasant plant; and he looked for judgment, and behold, oppression; for righteousness, but behold, a cry. Wo unto them that join house to house, till there can be no place, that they may be placed alone in the midst of the earth! In mine ears, said the Lord of Hosts, of a truth many houses shall be desolate, and great and fair cities without inhabitant.” (2 Nephi 15:7-9) – About 559–545 B.C.
The King James Version of Isaiah, chapter 5, was copied and pasted into the Book of Mormon. This chapter of Isaiah can be found in 2 Nephi, chapter 15. The book of Isaiah and 2 Nephi are also available to read in the next chapters of this book. Details of what took place can be found below…
If there is one example of plagiarism in the Book of Mormon that grieves my soul it comes from 2 Nephi, chapter 15. Isaiah, chapter 5, was copied and pasted into the Book of Mormon, while removing the holiness of God. Doing so is blaspheming God, which I will explain next. Instead of using “LORD” like in the KJV Bible and others, it changes it to “Lord”. What does it mean when it says, “LORD”? That is YHWH or Yahweh. This speaks of the most holy name of the Almighty God, which should never be changed. Removing its significance brings curses upon people's lives. It is written, “For the vineyard of the LORD of hosts is the house of Israel, and the men of Judah his pleasant plant: and he looked for judgment, but behold oppression; for righteousness, but behold a cry. Woe unto them that join house to house, that lay field to field, till there be no place, that they may be placed alone in the midst of the earth! In mine ears said the LORD of hosts, Of a truth many houses shall be desolate, even great and fair, without inhabitant.” (Isaiah 5:7-9) Holy, holy, Is the LORD! Give Him praise and honor, this day and forever.
I am saddened to even bring to your attention this corruption in the Mormon text. Joseph Smith removed the deity of God, while telling people that His Name is not sacred and holy as the Bible makes it. Therefore, we see him desecrating God's holy Name. There is nothing wrong with saying Lord, but if we ever see LORD in the Bible, we need to leave it alone. This is speaking about the exact Name of God. Now see how the Book of Mormon removes “LORD” and uses “Lord” instead. It is written, “for the vineyard of the Lord of Hosts is the house of Israel, and the men of Judah his pleasant plant; and he looked for judgment, and behold, oppression; for righteousness, but behold, a cry. Wo unto them that join house to house, till there can be no place, that they may be placed alone in the midst of the earth! In mine ears, said the Lord of Hosts, of a truth many houses shall be desolate, and great and fair cities without inhabitant.” (2 Nephi 15:7-9) What I just presented to you is a grave sin that has landed Joseph Smith and his cohorts in hell for their false translation. Joseph will be forever known as a false prophet. Amen.
Let us pray: Oh Lord, I pray that people will understand how sacred the Bible really is. How when it speaks of You in a certain way, we ought to pay close attention. You are lifted up and highly exalted. Surely, Your Name is “LORD”. Yahweh! I give You praise and honor this day and forever. Without You, I am completely lost. You have brought into my life fountains of eternal life. It is You, Jesus, that will take me to heaven. There is light that shines brightly, for You go before me on my path. Darkness has been scattered, and now I can help others draw near to You also. Give me wisdom, while leading me from temptation. Surely, the devil would love to take me down with him in hell. Many of Your very elect have fallen for his lies, but I will not have any part of it. You are more important to me than money, fame, or material pleasures. Be near me, Lord, and never let me go. Although my flesh is weak, I am strong enough to resist the devil and his hellish schemes. In my defense, I say, "get behind me Satan!" Your name is power. Although we live anxiously waiting for Your return, I know that it is soon at hand. I love You, Jesus. Amen.
