Joseph Smith Changed The Bible: Revelation 2:27

As we get to the ending of Revelation, chapter 2, we start to see things spiraling out of control when it comes to Joseph Smith and his new King James Version (KJV) Translation (JST). I said that correctly. We have sentences now added to a verse like it is nothing.   We will go over what has been added in great detail in order to see corruption on display. As for this message, we see phrases like “word of God, and they shall be in his hands”, “of clay in the hands”, and “And he shall govern them by faith, with equity and justice” being added into verse 27. Also, “a rod of iron” was removed, along with “shall they be broken to shivers”. These are not small changes but huge ones, making the JST a paraphrased version of an already translated text of scripture, which is the KJV. In this corrupt version of the Bible, we see over 3400 verses changed, along with many new verses added. If this doesn’t make you upset, I don’t know what to think. As for the changes I just mentioned, see below for the comparison…

Revelation 2:27 (KJV)
27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.

Revelation 2:27 (Joseph Smith Translation)
27 And he shall rule them with the word of God, and they shall be in his hands as the vessels of clay in the hands of a potter. And he shall govern them by faith, with equity and justice even as I received of my Father.

As you can see by what has been added, the amount of text added and removed from this verse is startling. What do you guys think? I absolutely love God and His Words for mankind, and when I see someone like Joseph Smith taking His Words and ripping them to pieces, it leaves me speechless. These types of actions I hate, and it makes me wonder why Mormons don’t see what Joseph did as sinful. Now, taking these people’s bad consciences out of the equation, God’s Words are plain and easy to read that God’s wrath is upon Joseph for what he did. Just because people don’t care as much about the sinful acts of others, God’s wrath will be upon people on judgement day. This is the case for this false prophet. And because his deeds are evil, in reference to adding to and taking away from the Bible, God has said that his plagues are upon him. Alone with this, we have his name removed from the book of life. This means that he will not enter New Jerusalem, but instead be cast into the lake of fire. Let the Bible speak, as far as Joseph being condemned for his actions. See below…

“For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.” (Revelation 22:18-19)

“And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.” (Revelation 20:12-15)
