There are so many red flags in the Mormon Doctrine. One being their Godhead doctrine. Where the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, are each God. How interesting since their own Book of Mormon says the exact opposite, as it teaches the trinity. Let’s now see how it reads. “And now, behold, my beloved brethren, this is the way; and there is none other way nor name given under heaven whereby man can be saved in the kingdom of God. And now, behold, this is the doctrine of Christ, and the only and true doctrine of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, which is one God, without end. Amen.” (2 Nephi 31:21) Wow! What did this verse teach again? The holy trinity. How that God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit are three person’s in one God. Working as three, in perfect unity. To bad this is not taught in the Mormon Church. The evidence is their own book, but they deny it and have made God to be what they want instead, which is three individual gods.
This teaching of the trinity is biblical. John taught, “for there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.” (1 John 5:7,8) So the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are three persons in one. These verses pretty much say the same thing as what I quoted in the book of Mormon. I am not saying the book of Mormon is true, but that at the time of Joseph Smith in writing this he also agreed with the trinity doctrine. However, the Mormon church has shunned it. Lastly, we know that their is one God, for the Bible is clear on this. One example comes from Isaiah, which reads, “remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me.” (Isaiah 46:9) The trinity doctrine is true. We may not totally understand how God works, but we have faith in Him nonetheless. Amen.
Let us pray:
Oh Lord, I pray that more Mormons will come to know the true Jesus of the Bible. There are so many red flags in their church doctrines and books they read, but because they are closed off to the truth, they cannot see what is false. So I ask that You open the eyes of many of these people today. Then, can they leave what is false behind and be saved. Truly, only You can save us, Jesus, and not a religion. Things may appear to be good on paper, like Mormon beliefs, but when testing what is taught with the Bible, it doesn’t hold water. Your words are true and faithful, but when people take away or add to Your words, this is all blasphemy. I would not want to be called a liar in Your sight, but people that create man-made doctrines in order to lead people into a church and not to You, this is oh so serious. If people could just realize the gravity of the transgressions the Mormon Church leaders and missionaries have committed. Many of them may be naïve to what they are doing, but what is false is false. The false teachings must come to the light, lest more souls are lost on the path of destruction. Help us reach them with the true gospel message from the Bible. I trust in You. I love You, God. Amen.
