In the beginning, God and man had a relationship.
Our Problem:
Sin came into the world and our relationship with God was broken. Because of sin we are separated from God. All have sinned and fallen short of
Man’s Attempted Solutions:
- Good person
- Good works
- Religion
God’s Solution:
God sent His Only Begotten Son into the world. Jesus was born to free us from our sins. He willingly gave Himself over to the people to die on the cross. He suffered and paid the price for our sins because of His great love for us all. He made a way that we could have forgiveness, if we turn from our wickedness and accept Jesus into our lives.
Our Choice:
- Accept Jesus’s sacrifice on the cross and have forgiveness for your sins. The reward for following Jesus is eternal life. We can walk safely through life and into heaven.
- Deny Jesus’s sacrifice on the cross and die in your sins. The punishment for denying Jesus is eternal punishment. In death, the wicked are punished for eternity in hell.
